Ludo King Star — Roll. Race. Reign.
This Privacy Policy explains how Ludo King Star ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), developed by Anas Rizvi, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Display name / nickname — entered when you play in Local, Bot, or Online multiplayer mode. This is not required to be your real name.
- Room codes and match data — when you create or join an Online Multiplayer room, your chosen name, color, and in-game moves are shared with the other player(s) in that same room so the match can be synced in real time.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — device model, operating system version, unique device/advertising identifiers, and general app-usage data (e.g. crash logs, session length).
- Gameplay data — game mode played, match results, and in-app progress, used to run and improve the game.
- Advertising identifiers — collected via Google AdMob to serve and measure ads (see Section 3).
- Approximate/network-based data — such as general region, inferred from your network connection, used for ad delivery and service reliability. We do not collect precise GPS location.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not require account creation with an email/password to play.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
- We do not collect payment card details (any in-app purchases, if enabled in the future, are processed entirely by Google Play Billing — we never see your payment information).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate core game features: Local Pass & Play, VS Bot, and Online Multiplayer matchmaking and real-time sync.
- To display and measure advertising (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads).
- To detect, prevent, and fix technical issues or abuse (e.g. cheating, spam room creation).
- To understand aggregate usage trends so we can improve gameplay, balance, and performance.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect information used to identify you as described in their own privacy policies:

4. Advertising
The App is supported by ads served through Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads (shown between turns/matches), and rewarded ads (optional — you choose to watch these in exchange for an in-game benefit such as an extra turn or a hint).
- Ads may be personalized based on your advertising identifier and app activity, where permitted by your device settings and region.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings: on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Rewarded ad benefits are only granted after you fully watch/complete the ad — we do not track what you do outside the App.
5. Children's Privacy
If this app is listed under Google Play's Families Policy or targets children, ad serving will be configured to request non-personalized / child-appropriate ads only, in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. COPPA, GDPR-K).
6. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data only:
- With the third-party service providers listed in Section 3, solely to operate the App.
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
- With other players in the same online match, limited to your chosen display name and gameplay actions (never your real identity or device data).
7. Data Retention
Online multiplayer room data (room code, players, live game state) is automatically deleted from our database shortly after a match ends or a room is abandoned. Aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics may be retained longer to help us improve the App.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your region (e.g. EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
- Request access to the data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized ads.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

9. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures (including Firebase's built-in security rules and encrypted connections) to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
