a) Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we may collect your display name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google Sign-In. Guest accounts do not require any personal information.

b) Gameplay Data

We collect in-game data such as scores, win/loss records, match history, room codes, emoji selections, and leaderboard rankings to provide and improve the game experience.

c) Device & Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Device type, model, and manufacturer
  • Operating system version
  • Unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • Language and locale preferences
  • App version and crash logs

d) Advertising Data

Our App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

  • Android Advertising ID
  • Device information and IP address
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
  • General location data (based on IP address)
  • App usage and browsing data for interest-based advertising

e) Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect usage and performance data, including session duration, screen views, feature engagement, crash reports, and performance metrics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To enable real-time multiplayer gameplay, matchmaking, and room management
  • To display leaderboards, player statistics, and match results
  • To send game-related push notifications (e.g., match invites, daily challenges)
  • To display advertisements through Google AdMob
  • To analyze app usage patterns and improve the App experience
  • To diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues
  • To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse

4. Advertising & Your Choices

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and other data to show you personalized (interest-based) ads.

You can opt out of personalized ads:

  • On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
  • You can also reset your advertising ID from the same settings screen

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (not based on your interests or behavior).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We may share limited data with:

  • Google/Firebase: For authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging, and ad serving as described in Section 2.
  • Other Players: Your display name, avatar emoji, scores, and rank are visible to other players in the same match or on public leaderboards.
  • Law Enforcement: If required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

AdMob and Firebase may retain data according to their own retention policies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) without verifiable parental consent.

For users under the age of consent, we serve non-personalized ads only in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's policies for child-directed content.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all data transmissions
  • Firebase Security Rules to restrict unauthorized access
  • Secure authentication via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0)

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of personalized advertising
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, where Google's servers are located. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or advertisements. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
